North Etna Summit Craters
4×4 Bus and Hike up to 3350 m Sporty Level
Hiking to the top is one of the most exciting experiences you can have: lunar landscapes, volcanic fields, basalts, recent lava flows, fumaroles and the amazing active craters. It a sensational experience to do absolutely. You will be accompanied by volcanological guides, the only authorized and competent to make you live a unique and safe experience. The trail start on 4×4 vehicles up to an altitude of 2930 meters. From this point, a 4 km ascent on foot begins along a path surrounded by volcanic bombs and scoria and lunar landscapes. The descent will be made on soft volcanic scoria and ash until reaching the 4×4 vehicles, which will take us back to Piano Provenzana, the endpoint of our excursion.
